My dear brothers and sisters in St Jude Thaddeus, I bring you a message of goodwill and blessings. In my new year message, I thanked God for his blessings upon our lives and encouraged you to trust more in him as we all look forward to his abundant blessings in our lives as we continue to reflect on our general theme for this year 2023, “The Lord is the Shield for those who take refuge in him (Psalm 28).” Let us indeed put our trust in him and he shall protect and defend us. Having come to the end of the first novena of the year with the theme: Behold I make all things new.” (Rev. 21:5).
I have come to the end of my assignment as the director of St Jude Apostolate. We now have a new director in the person of Rev. Fr. Dominic Mbomson, O.P. With him we shall all march on with new zeal, renewed faith, hope and love and new blessings. Devotion to St Jude Thaddeus remains new every time knowing that our God who works through his saints is ancient of days yet ever new and unchangeable. As I move on to a new apostolate, I encourage you all to support our new director as you have always supported and encouraged all the past directors starting with our most beloved founder Rev. Brother Stephen Lucas, O.P., and Fr. Valentine Anyanwu, O.P. Fr. Moses Ani, O.P. and myself Fr. Christopher Nnamani, O.P. You all have been wonderful and I truly cherish the time we spent together. Miracles and testimonies have been recorded, difficult and impossible cases have received favourable solutions due to the power of intercession of our dear Saint and Patron Jude Thaddeus.
Let us all be encouraged in our faith and trust in God whose love for us endures forever. May St Jude Thaddeus never forget the efforts each one of us have made to encourage devotion to him, may he obtain for each person whatever favour we ask in our petitions and may God bless every family abundantly through Christ our Lord. As I move on to a new apostolate, I trust in the intercession of St. Jude Thaddeus. I pray for you and I love you all…
Fr. Christopher Nnamani, O.P.
